Vivaxmalaria.org offers knowledge and guidance on relapsing P. vivax malaria.

MMV is delighted to announce the launch of vivaxmalaria.org, containing key learnings, best practices, tools and resources from a consortium of stakeholders involved in the treatment and control of P. vivax malaria.

The content, suitable for both general and technical audiences, contains information on the burden of disease, lifecycle of the parasite, diagnosis, treatment, as well as country profiles and relevant research.

Through vivaxmalaria.org, MMV aims to:

Increase awareness of relapsing P. vivax malaria, which affects an estimated 7.5 million people globally each year.

Inform stakeholders (including policy makers and practitioners) about progress in the development of new tools for the diagnosis and treatment of P. vivax malaria.

Promote global partnerships to advance the elimination of the disease.

The impact of this new information hub depends on input from the global malaria community. You are invited to share your knowledge and experiences with us and encourage your colleagues in the community to do the same.
